Adding different races to your game can add a layer of flavor and culture to your world. here is a list of races and sample bonuses for each.

Human | +1 to all stats | skills start at +4 at character creation | magic detection

Elf | +3 Def | +3 acrobatics | +3 magic resistance

Aasimar | +3 Mana | +3 heal | cure light wounds 3/day as a spell like ability

Eladrin | +3 Def | +3 spellcraft | fay step 30ft 3/day

Dwarf | +3 HP | +3 profession | darkvision

Gnome | +3 Def | +3 craft | speak with animals

Halfling | +3 Def | +3 diplomacy | win ties on opposed rolls

Orc | +3 Atk | +3 weapon proficiency | can stay concious 3 roulds at 0 or less HP

Kobold | +3 Def | +3 initiative | +3 favored enemy

Drow | +3 Atk | +3 stealth | 10ft (2×2) darkness 3/day as a spell like ability

Catfolk | +3 HP | + 3 larceny | 1d4 claws

Ratfolk | +3 Atk | +3 alchemy | +3 movement

Grippli | +3 HP | +3 climb | +3 favored terrain

Tengu | +3 Atk | +3 perception | flight speed of 30ft

Sylph | +3 Mana | +3 arcana | + 25% Mana

Oread | +3 Def | +3 appraise | +3 natural armor

Efreeti | +3 Atk | +3 damage | all damage dealt is treated as fire damage
